So here it is, a chance to learn something new. Can anyone guess what I used to fake the polished rod ? Product photography is a lot of DIY, compromise, tricks, adapting, flexibility and a lot of creativity.

This project had it’s challenges, but the most difficult one was staying clear of the sharp hooks. No sudden moves are allowed around the hooks. Even when you feel the hook biting on your skin, you need to stay calm and asses the situation. Seriously, sharp as scalpels.
On the photography side, I had to figure out a way to position the little buggers, and have the hooks tilted backwards and also get the lighting just right to show the shapes, not as easy when dealing with small items.
The creative set was quite fun to do. You start with a few elements, add a little bit of this and a little bit of that, tweak the light, change the lens, try again, take a break, and another break, and hope the client will be happy with the results, and he was :).

After soapy bubbles and water splashes it’s time for being a bundle of cute and sweet.
You can see baby M enjoying a photo session in his new favorite blankie. He is full of energy and going almost faster than we can shoot. Still we caught a few good ones.
It’s a great day for baby M. His first model shoot, his first pay check and the sky is the limit. Looking forward to claim I discovered him. Thank you for tolerating my flashes so bravely.
