Where do we begin ? We’re looking at a huge branch, a whole science and art in itself. Photographers specialize in food photography and never look back. It is not a niche, it’s a full chapter in the spectrum of photography.
Food photography comes in so many forms. Full plate, off cuts, fresh food, steaming, in context, as lifestyle but all of it has one common denominator, the photographer gets to eat it. That’s the first rule of food photography. Unless it is one of those sessions where the food is plastic, varnished, even 3D, we demand to eat it.
